Hello Hugo,
I asked my DAd and he says he is familiar with lomeli...and that there are several Yanez's there. He said Camilio Yanez might be related. My grandfather Marcos Yanez was born about 1850 in or around Mexticacan. Also he, my grandfather had a brother named Rotelio and a two sisters. ONe was named Cuca and so was the half-sister named Cuca Bandilla. Anyway, I hope this helps. My Dad's name is Marcos Garcia Yanez. Anyway, let me know if this helps. Beatriz Yanez Cota
