Hello,
This is a long shot.
Can anyone tell me if you have a Sarah (possibly Yancey) in your records marrying into the Noble family in (Anson/Montgomery Co., NC) in the late 1700's?
Thomas Noble b. circa 1760, place unknown, married Sarah before 1800 in Montgomery County, NC.
One of their sons was named Yancey and so I'm thinking there is a family connection.
The Thomas & Sarah (Yancey?) Noble family went into SC (Laurens Dist) in the very late 1700's and then their children moved to Ala.
I'm at a dead end on my Noble research and I'm hoping that family ties may lead to more clues.
Any help or thoughts are greatly appreciated.
