After digging through my Yancey file, I found two additional facts about John Louis Yancey. He was listed in the 1900 census as living in Wise County, Texas with his daughter Lutie (from his first marriage) and her husband and her sister Sallie Lee. He died July 24, 1929 in Wise County, TX.
