Bernice --
Louisa Wynne and James Lavender were married 01/08/1893 in Pulaski Co. They both died in 1931. I've requested Louisa's death cert from the state but am still waiting..... sometimes they take forever. I haven't been able to locate one for James Lavender as of yet but am still searching.
Family tells us that Louisa's family was from Dodge/Pulaski/Wilkerson Co. Since the county formations were all going on, it's hard to tell where they actually came from but I'm leaning on Wilkerson. There's an area close to here where Laurens, Dodge and Pulaski are all bordered together and from the census info, this seems to be where they were all from.
Will let you know what I find when (and if) I ever receive the death certs I'm waiting on
