Hi gordon!

Sorry for not getting back to you before hand, my mum's been very very ill but, all fingers and toes crossed, will now be swiftly on the road to recovery with the help of many operations she has had.

Now that she is able to help me on the info. Elizabeth-Ellen gave her when she was younger, she has indeed put a few details straight.

You are quite correct when you say that none of us are related to the infamous Sir John Wynn, a fact I have found from my research. Mum also clarified that we Wynns simply took his title and land, including surname, when he died and therefore the 1st Bart. came into being.

I notice now I read my messages back, that I made a rather large 'typo' if you will: I'm afraid my typing skills are not to be congratulated. Indeed, I notice I entered the elusive 'Charles' as the brother of WWW 1st, instead of WWW 6th. Please forgive this mistake.

Also, if you will help me with a certain matter that has now been clarified by my mother. WWW 6th had a single daughter, whom, up until recently, I believed to be called Elizabeth. I think we have had this conversation before??! Mum now tells me that Elizabeth was a shortening of her rather too long winded name, and that in actuality her name was Louisa-Elizabeth.

If you could please help me? As of yet I have not come accross a Louisa in my resaerching. If I do I will indeed post it for anyone else who may be interested.

Due to mum's afore-mentioned health troubles, we have not been able to converse with Mr. Faiclough at Cardiff Museum about the Wynn family tree, but when we do, I will be sure to tell you about any interesting developments.

Regards,

Laura-Elizabeth
