I have not posted on this forum for quite a few years. Here is an extract of the TOOKER family of my gr-grandmother Sarah Hatfield Tooker, 6th of 12 known children born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, between 1831 and 1852, many of whom removed to the Annapolis Valley area of NS around 1856.
A number of this group of siblings ended up in the greater Los Angeles area, from where their descendants spread throughout California and migrated north to the Seattle, Washington area, where a number of them still live today.

Jesse Wyman and Azuba Nickerson had daughter Jessie Wyman b. 13 Oct 1811 Yarmouth, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada; Sex: Female; daughter Jesse died 6 Oct 1887 Nova Scotia, Canada.

Question - were wives of George and Thomas Tooker (Phoebe and Eliza Smith) sisters? Who were their parents? Did the Smith wives come from Nova SCotia? Was Agnes Dafter from California or another US state?

Question - did 1 or 2 children die in childbirth or infancy between 1847 and 1851 ?
