Just a lead. My stuff is in storage and my health is to poor to persue it.

Supposedly 3 brothers John, William and James had moved to Northumberland County VA, but John returns to Gloucester to live while the other 2 brothers move into NC, eventually ending up in Tryon Co, NC and then Rutherford Co - I think. I think one of the Northumberland Deeds mentions John's return to Glouscester. I think James may be my ancester but have no proff.

My ancestor is John Wyatt born in 1772 Rutherford County NC, his father was named James Wyatt - who I suspect may be the son of the above James. John's daughter said John was born in Buncombe county which did not exist in 1772 when it was part of Rutherford County. She also said John's father was named James, which would be her grandfather.
