There are few records in Prince Geo Co. Virginia so
hoping someone may have a clue abt. Anthony Wyatt and his wife Elizabeth unsure of births and deaths.
Certain of Daughter Elizabeth Wyatt married Edward Bettis
John Wyatt, Frances Wyatt married John Syles, and
possible Sarah Wyatt married Thomas Lee.
Elizabeth and Edward Bettis had a son James Bettis b/ abt 1733. He parents were dead by 1737-40 and James was a orphan.
James Bettis could have been bind to the Wyatts or Pattersons, and
thur Land deeds and Tax records I have traced James into
North Carolina Granville, Warren, Bute, and Franklin
almost always on tax list with the Pattersons and Wyatts
James was on the 1771 Tax list Bute Co., were he owned land and when Bute Co. was divided into Warren and Franklin he ended up in Franklin with the Pattersons and Wyatts. John Wyatt above could the same John in Bute Co.
and deeds land to his son John, Jr who I'm sure is the John Wyatt in Franklin Co.
If anyone has any clues on this Anthony Wyatt Family I would appreciate the help.
