Michael,

I came across the following in my search for John Wyatt and Mary (Polly) Pearl married October 10, 1788, Crab Orchard, Lincoln Co., KY who moved in 1817 to Warren County, MO. Still trying to find out John's and Mary/Polly (Pearl) Wyatt's death and burial location. Believe it to be around Marthasville, Warren Co., MO.

"In, A History of the Pioneer Families of Missouri by Bryan and Rose - there were two entries for Frank Wyatt - pg 225 (for Warren County) and pgs 223-224." Both Frank Wyatts were born in North Carolina. Pg 225, he appeared to live in NC while 223-224 he lived in Montgomery Co., KY. Pg 223-224 had a son, John, who married Attossa Sharp and settled in Missouri in 1817. Pg 225 had had seven children - one of whom was John who had lived in Lincoln Co., Kentucky and was married to Polly Pearle. Names were close for siblings. Pg 225, John listed as being in the Revolutionary War (1775-1783). Pg 223-224, John had been Captain in the War of 1812 (1812-1815). Maybe, writer was confused as well!!!
