Re your messages:

Have you seen: Alexander Lloyd Wiatt, comp.: "The Wiatt Family of Virginia ...," (Verona, VA: McClure Printing Co, c. 1980)??
It is not in print now, but can be ordered on interlibrary loan from the Virginia State Library in Richmond. Try your local library for interlibrary service. I found this book rather helpful on Haute Wyatt's backlineage.

Else where, I have found that Haute's lineage can be traced to 900s, including through Edward I. King of England. Cf Msg No. 1174 posted by Larry Bethune on Wyatt Family Genealogy Forum.

See page 20 pf A. L. Wiatt's book: where is shown Edward Wiatt, Jr. (1677-abt 1745) of Boxley Plantation, Gloucester Co, VA, married (date unk) Frances Newton (dates unk) of Westmoreland Co, VA. They had among their children: William (1707- ) and SARA (dates unk) who married (date unk) RICHARD CATE (dates unk). SARA and RICHARD CATE had NANCY [Ann] CATE (1730- ) who married RICHARD BONNER (1724-1822) of Prince George Co, VA (or Dinwiddie Co, next door) about 1752.

I am very interested in knowing anything about SARA who married RICHARD CATE; they are my g5grandparents. Would you know anything about SARA and RICHARD??

Alexander Lloyd Wiatt states that any descendants of EDWARD WIATT, Jr and FRANCES NEWTON are eligible for membership in Mayflower Society; Frances was descendant of the William Brewster of Mayflower fame. A. L. Wiatt gives Frances's lineage back to Brewster.
