August 15, 1944 Liberator shot down-unit?

August 15, 1944 a US Liberator was shot down near Rhine Village of Preist. OF 3 US Aircrewmen-one was captured
and murdered by german Civilians-of whom 3 were hanged in 1945 and 1 sentenced to Life Inprisiment. POW is unknown.
What Bimber Units lost aircraft near this area?
