James Bradley son of Patrick Bradley and Mary Ann O'Donnell who lived in Salem MA He was my unlce ang God Father, my mom's only brother, he also had 4 other sisters. Susan, Helen, Mary and Tess(Theresa) He had been born July 12 1912 probably either in Peabody or Salem MA

Jim served in the US Army in WW11, he was in the
17th Airborne , 466 Parachute Field Battalion
I don't know anything else about his time in the Army, he didn't talk about it with us, much.

Does anyone remember him? Know his rank/s etc. Where exactly were they stationed, and while I'm quite sure they participated in D Day I'm not sure to what extent and would rally like to know, I would also like to know if Jim got any medals of any kind, and if so what were they, and for what.?

Jim was also the husband of Dorothy (Mackin) Bradley and at the time had at least one daughter Mary Elizabeth. who was atoddler I think.

Any information at all about Uncle Jim would be appreciate.
I'm quite sure not many of his buddies are alive today.
Jim died in 1957 in Saugus Ma. His wife Dorothy just passed away this past March 31, 2009.

Barbara in MA
