I'm working on this line too. Primarily because George Washington Wren 1804 VA married Mary Hughes in Madison Co. AL in 1827. Consequently, I've worked down some of their children's lines. I want to know if their son GW Wren Jr. served the CSA in TX. I know their son Robert Hughes Wren lived and died in McNairy Co., TN.
What became of your Robert Jasper's sibs Simeon Agrippa, Robert H. and Washington? I do not know why we have two given names that are the same. But there is little doubt when you look at the 1860 census. I know about Tearza. Do you have anything else on the Hughes line? If you got it from One World Tree, it is probably wrong.
Anyway, I have some new ideas about this branch of Wrens and need to find primary documents to prove it.
