Hi: I don't know if there is a connection here but my ggrandfather was Alexander Ray (Wray)one of his brothers was James Wray. Alexander's father was James Wray from Ireland and mother's maiden name Margaret Guffin (Ireland)Alexander born 8-2-1866 and died in Philly 1929. Lots of Rays/Wray baptisms at St. Patrick's R.C. Church in Philly. Hope there is a connection.
