Moses Esau Woolf Texas

Hi,
I'm looking for any information regarding the ancestory of Moses Esau Woolf. He was born May 26, 1874 in Hopkins County Texas. He is the son of Mordus and Eida Woolf.
Mordus was born 1846 in North Carolina; Eida was born in Alabama in 1845. We believe very strongly that Mordus was a German Jew or descended from German Jews. We believe Eida was Jewish as well, but only know that Eida is a Yiddish name and don't know if she is a German Jew or not.
Our oral history says that Moses was a Protestant as his daughter, Lena, converted to Catholicism from Protestantism upon her marriage. We don't know if he was born into the Christian faith, or if he converted (assuming he was Jewish).
Their other children, and these may not be all:
Samuel H. Woolf, born in Arkansas, 1867
George B. Woolf, Texas, 1869
Dora Etta Woolf, Texas, June 12, 1872
Thomas F. Woolf, Texas, 1877
Ocean E. G. Woolf (female), Texas, October 30, 1879
Callie and Lallie?

Moses married Emma Emelia Kniffen, February 2, 1894 in Greenville, Hunt County, Texas. He died and was buried in Del Rio, Val Verde County, Texas.
Their children were:
Lena, Roy, Lettie, Mabel, Raymond, and James
Thanks, any help would be much appreciated.
