Interested in communicating with anyone connected to Carl WOLFF (born 1830 Prussia) and wife, Anna Belle Moore, born 1834 Scotland.

Carl WOLFF and wife appear to have arrived in the U.S. approximately 1859 and are found in the
1860 federal census of Bloomington, McLean Co., Illinois. Children: Elvira & Charles.

In 1870 the family is found in Macomb, McDonough Co., IL and the family name is shown as 'VON WOLFF'

In 1880 the family is in Emporia, Lyon Co, Kansas (Von Wolff) and by 1900 they are enscounced in Topeka, Shawnee Co, KS where they lived out their lives. Carl was a house painter and died in Topeka, KS 1912; Ann died in Topeka 1923.

According to family lore, Carl's family name may have been Karl Wolff Von Ludenhaus (or a fact similar).
Upon arrival in the U.S. he shortened the name.
Children of Anna and Carl were: Charles William (1860); Elvira (1863); Claude Arthur (1864; Albert E. (1866);
Bessie Alice (1868).

Any shared information most greatly appreciated.
