I have spoken with Lois Wight who wrote book #2 and she is not working on a 3rd book. While there are a lot of theories about Thomas Wight, it is most likely that any records in England have been lost. Some prior messages on this site by those who have searched in England give strong evidence that any records of Thomas have been destroyed.
The best chance of finding the connection to England is thru DNA. I urge that many of you get tested and post your results on the Wight Family DNA site. Hopefully we will get some British results and we can begin to trace the connection.
