My grandfather is Floyd Elmer Wight. He was married to Onita Davis just long enough to have my mother. Floyd is the son of John Leroy Wight (Elvira Russell), who was the son of John Benton Wight (Julia or Judy Utley), who was the son of Orange Lysander Wight (Matilda Carter), who was the son of Lyman Wight (Harriet Benton).
Since my grandparents divorced I was never able to develop a relationship with the Wight's, and in fact, never knew anything about them. Grandma has since died and I would like to know more about my grandfather's side of the family. If you know anything about these people, would you please fill me in? I will be more than happy to share what little I know, as well as all the information on my grandmother's side (extensive!) for all you collateral line collectors out there.
