Trying to locate info for Thomas Whyte b1869 married Alison Lindsay b1870 both from Scotland, have got Alisons family but only Thomas parents names Matthew Whyte and Margaret Brownlie, cannot locate them or Thomas in any census, a 1901 census has Thomas, Alison, Maggie (d), Mathhew (s) and a Alexander, but I can't work out where he fits in perhaps a brother or cousin to Thomas? Thomas, Alison and their five children immigrated to NZ in 1913, Matthew b1900 is my husbands grandfatherm Thomas family has become a mystery?
