Mark Whitton has set up a Whitton DNA group on Ancestry in which both he and I have added the results of our Ancestry DNA tests. It appears that the two of us whose families originated as far back as we can locate to the County of Angus in Scotland in the 1700's do not share DNA so it looks as if our 2 Whitton families are not related, but perhaps some of the visitors to this site may wish to check this out.
Go to Ancestry and click on "DNA" at the menu at the top of the page. These searcg for Whitton Groups.
