Seeking information on CATHERINE BEVERLEY WHITING, born circa 1762, probably in Gloucester VA. Sources indicate she was first married to Lieutenant William Stevenson (or Stephenson), who was commissioned in the revolutionary army in 1777 from "Little York", VA and died circa 1784. She probably was the mother of Frances Lowry Stevenson, born circa 1783. Her second marriage appears to have been to William Lowry.
Frances Lowry Stevenson married Charles King Mallory, born 1781; several of their children and grandchildren had the given names of Catherine, Beverley and Whiting.
Any information relating to Catherine Beverley Whiting, her ancestors and her Stevenson in-laws would be much appreciated.
