My Mother was adopted. Her birth mother was Opal Bain who lived in Clovis Mexico and sometimes in Texas with one of her brothers. Listed as the birth father was Dan White of Clovis New Mexico. My Mother was born May 1937 in San Antonio, Texas at the Salvation Army then four months later, Opal took my mother to Texas Cradle Society to give her up. Opal was 17 yrs old and Dan White was 25 yrs old. I have found the Bain family which I learned Opal Bain was killed in a accident in 1951 she was 31 yrs old. Opal never had anymore children and her family, who is still alive does not recall Dan White. Any information would be wonderful to solve this mystery. I am sure someone knows something.
