Helo all,
I am looking for the descendents of these five brothers, Confederate soldiers soldiers, from Spartanburg, S.C.:
1. Corporal in Co. "K" 5th S.C. Vols., then Lieutenant in PalmettoSharpshooters, then Pvt in PSS. John Warren White; died of wounds in 1864.
2. Pvt. William White, PSS; died of diphtheria in the Confederate Hospital in Richmond in 1862.
3. Hiram White, Jr, Co. "K", 5th S.C.; died at Battle of Antietum, Md..
4. Pvt. Rufus Belton White, Palmeto SharpShooters; died the day after losing right arm at Battle of Fraser's Farm (Glendale) during Seven Days Battles.
5. Jasper White, the only brother to survive the war. Not sure if he served. But he went to Texas after the war, had two sons, William and Bert "Berdie". Berdie went to Montana when he was older. Jasper wound up in Texas State Mental Hospital.

William married Martha Harmon and left behind 3 kids.
Rufus left a wife, Cordelia Jane Nantz and one child behind.
