Hazel Hensley White, 85, 115 Penny Lane, Unicoi, Unicoi Co
TN, died Friday, October 30, 2009, at the Center on Aging
and Health following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. White was a lifelong Unicoi County resident and a
daughter of the late Charlie Buck and Ellen Rosa Ingle
Hensley.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. White was a member of Unicoi Church of God and the
Ladies Sunday School Class.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by
one brother, Earl T. Hensley; and two sisters, Ruby I.
White and Pauline Mae Hensley.
Mrs. White is survived by her husband of fifty-seven
years, Lincoln White; three brothers, Robert E. Hensley,
Charles Hensley and wife Peggy, all of Unicoi, TN, and
Woody Hensley and wife Anne, Elizabethton, TN; and several
nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 p.m. until
7 p.m., at the church and other times at the residence.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, November 1, 2009,
at 7 p.m., from the Unicoi Church of God with the Reverend
Ronnie Holloway officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be
members of the Ladies Sunday School Class of Unicoi Church
of God.
The graveside committal service will be held Monday,
November 2, 2009, at 10 a.m., in Jones Cemetery. Minister,
family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery
by 9:50 a.m., Monday.
