Hi, I am looking for the origins of Stella M. WHITE, born in Vermont about 1875. She spoke English, but her first language was probably French (that's what she lapsed into when she scolded her grandchildren!).
She married 1st Harry BRADSTREET (of Texas) about 1890 in Fergus, Montana. They had three daughters: Laura J (b 1890 Montana), Alice N (b 118 Mar 1894 in New Hampshire), and Sadie Edna (b. 1896 in New Hampshire).
She married 2nd Albert Savin LOUGEE (of New Hampshire) about 1898 in New Hampshire. They had Gladys E. (b. 1900), Stella M. (b. 1903), Albert S. and Alvin P. (twins, b. 1905), Cora Mavel (b. 1910).
She died in 1944 and is buried in East Kingston, NH.
I am looking for her parentage, birth date, and information about her first marriage; and circumstances surrounding the abandonment and subsequent recovery of her first three children. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
