Looking for any information on children of Altha Elizabeth Addington and (UNKNOWN) White. Robert A. White, b. 1875-77 d. 29 Oct 1899, Marietta, Indian Territory (OK) and C.A. White (female) b.1871 d. 14 May 1900, Jesse, OK. Robert is noted as the single 22 y.o. half brother to McCune children (Addington's second or third marriage or union that produced children). After the death of Alpha and Henry McCune, Robert tried to homestead and raise the children. After some time he took the three youngest to Buckner's Orphan Home in Dallas, TX and died soon after of a fever. The female child, C. A. White, was adopted 28 June 1878 in Johnson County, TX, by Clem Pierce being a "natural illegitimate child by Clem Pierce and Mrs. Altha White" I believe her name was changed to Annie/Anna (Laura?)Pierce. She married Adam Hindman Hamman and is my greaat grand mother. Any info or leeds will help... will share info. Thanks, Barbara Davis - bdavis47@earthlink.net
