I believe the previous response was in error. Lewis R(1897-1987) had 3 bros: George, Ray & David and 1 sister, Margaret. His father was Lewis H (a butcher in Wampum PA)
who had 2 sisters, Lizzie & Emma and 4 brothers: John G., Frank, Charles and Andrew. Lewis H's parents were Andrew Weitz (1834-1883) and Margaret Bolinger (m. 1857). Andrew was born in Dornassenheim Germany and his parents were Peter Weitz and Ludwica Krebbs. Peter was born in 1783 in Ober Morlen Germany and married Ludwica 10-04-1803.Peter was my great great great grandfather.Andrew's brother George was my great great grandfather. George's son, Edward E was my great grandfather and his daughter Grace was my grandmother. Somehow we're related!
