I,too,need more clues! My grandmother's name was Margaret Weitz, according to a marriage application signed by her mother, Elizabeth, in 1898. Margaret married Charles W. Smith.I have very sketchy info from my mother who is now dead. Wish I had asked more questions when I was younger! A 1920 census shows she immigrated in 1892 and naturalized in 1895. Sometimes the writing is so dim or unclear on these records. I'm still digging. If you have any info, it would be greatly appreciated and I will share info when I find some! Thanks.
