Private Robert B. Wiess

A couple of years ago I purchased a "Map of the British Isles" at an antique show. The map is rather large fold out map printed on cloth. Inside the front cover is printed Pvt. Robert B. Weiss, ASN 15303574, U.S. Army.

I examined it and noticed several roads in Southern England were emphasized in ink. A town, Shrivenham was added in ink just East of Swindon. I found no other notations. I suspect the roads he marked were to places he visited. I also suspect Shrivenham was either a place he was stationed or had a special meaning.

I would be interested to know if anyone knows Pvt. Weiss or his family. I would be pleased to return his map to him or his family.
