believe David Weese (son of Peter) is found with Elizabeth in the 1850
census in Roanoke, VA #112-112:
David Weese 47 VA, farmer $300, (1803 vs. given 1793)
Elizabeth 40 VA, (1809 matches Elizabeth Nidey)
Abraham 23, (Close to Abraham's date of 1827)
Peter 18, (Matches Peter's date of 1832)
Jacob 16, (Good for Jacob)
Isaac 13, Is this a child of David and Elizabeth?
John W 11, (Pretty close to John of 1840)
David R 9, (Close to David R. of 1809)
Elizabeth C 6, (Match to Elizabeth of 1844)
Barnabas 2, (Pretty good to go for Barnabas)
So, is historical research in error or is David raising his siblings?
The Weese line is VERY confusing.
