Greetings

I am looking for the family name of Wees(e) in Roane County in the 1830s and earlier.

Here is what I have so far:

Peter Wees,
b. 1762 (Augusta Co., VA now Hardy Co., WV)
d. July 9, 1836 in Roane Co., TN
married
Mary Smith on 8/12/1788 in Botetourt Co., VA.
She may have died the same day as Peter.

They may have had as many as 13 children.

Known sons:

-David Wees (B.~1793 D.8/21/1888)
married
Elizabeth Nidey (or Niday or Nida) (b.~1809) on 10/20/1825.

They had the following children:
Abraham -1827
GEORGE W. WEESE, b. JUN 23, 1829 – d. APR 8, 1897
Peter -1832
Jacob -1834
David R. -1837
John -1840
David -1842
Elizabeth C. -1844
Barnabas -1849

The family lived in Botetourt County VA until the 1850's and then moved to Fayette/Raleigh CO VA (WV-1863).

-Landon Wees (His family went to Texas - Sharlene Boykin research)
b. 1795 Wythe Co., VA

William S. Weese Born Aug-18-1808 (?) in Roane Tenn...Died Dec. 21, 1874 in Fulton Co (?)

Married to Nancy___ on Jan. 28, 1830 in Roane, Tenn. Nancy Born Oct of 1810 in Tenn. ..Died Oct 11, 1898 in Ipava, Il. (?)

The TENNESSEE PENSION ROLL OF 1835 states:

ROANE COUNTY
PRIVATE - VIRGINIA LINE
$20.00 ANNUAL ALLOWANCE
$60.00 AMOUNT RECEIVED
SEPTEMBER 20, 1833 PENSION STARTED
AGE 71

MICHAEL WEESE
GREEN COUNTY
PRIVATE - VIRGINIA CONT'L
$96.00 ANNUAL ALLOWANCE
$382.40 AMOUNT RECEIVED
MAY 16, 1825 PENSION STARTED
AGE 82
DIED APRIL 20, 1829

I am trying to find out who Peter Wees' children, father & mother are and where exactly did they live in Roane County.

Can anyone help me????
