Jacqui: I am researching my two daughters' paternal side of the family. Their great-grandmother was Margaret Smith, daughter of Francis Smith and Margaret Weese. "Grams" as she was called, was an only child and always said her parents were well off. She married Roscoe Meador/Meadows and they had one child, a daughter they named Margaret. Grams was born January 4, 1906. As I understand it, all of this happened in Monongalia County, WV. Have you run across this family during your Weese research? If not, do you know of someone who may be researching this line that could help? Any tips or direction would be much appreciated!
