Pierre WEBER born est 1870 <Luxembourg,Europe> may have died there between 1900 and 1905. He married abt 1891 in Luxembourg Catherine WOLF born 8 Jan 1872 in Luxembourg (she died 25 Sep 1952 in Ecorse, Wayne co, Michigan) and they had at least 4 children: Pete, Marie, Thersa and Alphonse WEBER (born abt 1900 in Luxembourg, Europe).

Catherine WOLF-WEBER was widowed or divorced from Pierre WEBER and she married a 2nd time abt 1906 in Luxembourg Joseph MANDERSHEID born 17 Dec 1885 in Luxembourg with whom she had at least 4 more children: Katie (married Jere DUNNE); Alice (married Bud CHURCH); Gunda; and Albert (married 3 times, lived in NJ). Joseph Mandersheid immigrated to the US about 1912 followed in 1913 by his wife, Catherine and their 3 daughters, Katie, Alice and Gunda. In 1915 Joseph and Catherine (WOLF) Mandersheid had a son, Albert MANDERSHIED born in Alpena, Michigan and that year the family moved to Ecorse, Wayne co, MI.

In 1917 Catherine's son Alphonse WEBER born abt 1899 in Luxembourg and her daughter, Marie WEBER born 21 Jan 1893 in Wollmerange (also called Wormedingen), Lorraine, Luxembourg immigrated from Luxembourg to the US.

Marie WEBER who had been living at Dudelange, Luxembourg was 24 yrs old and an excellent cook when she came to America in 1917 (her mother had cooked for the royal family in Luxembourg). Marie's half-sister, Mrs Bud (Alice) CHURCH told me the Henry FORD family (of FORD cars) in Grosse Point, Wayne co, Michigan got word of Mary and came down to their house to talk to Marie about cooking for the FORD family. So Edsel Ford's brother-in-law Ernest Carlton KANZLER and his wife Josephine hired her. Edsel FORD's wife, Eleanor L. CLAY, was the sister of Josephine (CLAY) KANZLER, Ernest KANZER's wife. Eleanor and Josephine CLAY were the daughters of William CLAY and Elizabeth HUDSON. Their uncle, Joseph L. Hudson was owner of Detroit's largest department store and was a leader of the Hudson Motor Car Co.
