Jerri Your letter arrived yesterday and now I undestand the confusion. The patriarch of the Webbers in the Bedford vicinity was John Webber,Sr (?-1805) He had four sons namely{Peter, Henry, John,Jr. and Martin. My line is the Martin line and I have little information other than that developed by Karen Bullock on the others. I am sending you a lettr from Karen to me dated January 1998 that summarizes her findings on the early Webbers plus my outline of the descendants of Wolford von Weber. The latter may help you sort out names as you search the census files. If you haven't done so check out the 1850 and 1860 censuses of Bedford. Good luck
