I am looking for any information concerning my maternal grandmother's family. Her name is Elsie Elizabeth Webber and she lost her family at a very young age. She remembers that her father's name was Joseph Webber and believes that her mother's name was Catherine York. They lived in Saginaw, Michigan where Elsie Elizabeth was born approx 1912. She believes that her paternal grandfather's name was Stone (or Stoan) Webber. She also believes that she had siblings by the names of Mame(or Mayme)Webber, Raymond Webber and Joseph Webber, Jr. Elsie Elizabeth remembers her father being taken away in a wheelchair. At that point, the family was broken up and Elise Elizabeth was either placed in an orphanage or moved from home to home. She does not know what happened to her siblings as she never saw any of her family after her father's death. She remembers working for a Mrs. Clair Kain (who had a son named Jerry Kain). Elsie Elizabeth does not know where her mother went. She believes that she left the family at the time of her husband's death. Any information from anyone who may have known or knows of this family would be great. Thanks so much!
