I goofed...Richard Webber is a son of Jonathan WEBBER of Chebeague Island, Cumberland Co., Maine and Harriet HAYES (whom I believe is also a sister to Eleanor Hayes who married David Webber...prob. both daughters of Richard HAYES and Mary ____ as I mentioned Richard Hayes in my previous post). Anyway, Richard WEBBER born 1792 on Chebeague Island, married a cousin Lucy WEBBER and its LUCY that's the daughter of David Webber and Eleanor HAYES. Lucy was born Dec. 1793 in Harpswell, Cumberland Co., Maine and she married Richard WEBBER in 1816 Harpswell, ME (Marriage Records of Harpswell, courtesy of the Harpswell Town Hall). At the time the Intent was filed on April 5, 1815, Richard stated he was "of No.Yarmouth,Maine". Richard and Lucy (Webber) WEBBER had at least 3 children: Susannah C. Webber b. 1822, Isaac b. 1821, and Charles A. R. WEBBER b. 1829 on Chebeague Island, ME who married Susan J. ROSS. Charles and Susan had a daughter Edith J. WEBBER born c1865 on Cousins Island, in Yarmouth, ME and she was the 1st wife of my grt. grandfather Eugene Cyrus BIBBER who was born July 25, 1864 in Harpswell, Cumberland Co., Maine. Eugene was the son of Susannah C. WEBBER and Charles J. BIBBER. I have pictures of Edith's family that my grt. grandfather kept all his years. After he died in 1954, some of his possessions were passed on to who is now his only living child. Some of these things were passed on to me and among them was a necklace that belonged to Edith J. Webber that is made of jet and coral beads (a beautiful old thing still in tact), and an old photo album with pictures of possibly her and her family I am assuming, and also an old photo album of Civil War soldiers. Some of the photographs are labeled Webber-Brunswick, ME, so someone in the Webber family must have had a photography studio in Brunswick. I am so very pleased to have these things. I think this is the line of my Richard Webber and why his line has been so tangled up with his wife's line. There is probably a connection between Thomas Webber line and Jonathan Webber, Richard's father. I think is now somewhat correct, but again, I have had this line so twisted up that I am always open to corrections and additions. Thank you for any help. Notify Administrator about this message?
