Hi Rita,
What information do you have on this family? I have been searching them for a long time! Philip Webber was my great-great grandfather. He was born in Kentucky in 1817 and died in Iroquois County, Illinois on 1-23-1897. Simeon was the only son of his first marriage to Mary Jane Williams in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. The family later removed to Stark County, Illinois where he remarried to Anna Caroline Degroft Ames, a widow, in 1861. Simeon married Cynthia Sims.
I have not so far found where in Kentucky Philip was born nor who his parents were. Do you have any information? The names Philip, Simeon, and Seth appear frequently through the Virginia line of Webbers. His parents were born in Kentucky/Virginia.
