Days ago I found that my great grandfather, George E. Webber, who lived for a time in Maury Co., TN may have had a father named George also. This George is listed in the 1820 census for Maury Co. His suggested birthdate was prior to 1775. Of course his wife and four children are not named, but the age of the older male child fits with George E. Anyone supplying further info OR confirmation will be the hero(ine) of the California Webbers
