The evidence suggests to me that Moses Webber was the grandson and not the son of Casper Webber. William Webber, Casper's son married Nancy Walker on November 05, 1792 in Campbell County, VA. Nancy Walker was the daughter of Buckley and Ann Walker. Moses is a very common name in this family. One of Nancy's brothers was named Moses.

I have seen a birthdate of September 08, 1793 for Moses Webber. That suggests that Moses was the first child of William and Nancy Walker Webber. Does anyone know the source of this birthdate?
