I finally received long-awaited family info. Here goes: Great-grandfather Julian D. Wease, b. 12/18/1854, obit says on a farm near St. Louis, MO, and his father was away at war for the Confederacy. I have a copy of army records for a: Huston Weace, age 38, Private, Co. M Enlisted July 25, 1863 at Lexington, MO Mustered in 8/22/1863 Killed June 12, 1864 near Holden, MO by guerrillas. Physical description also says he was 5'6", hair light, eyes blue, complexion light, married, farmer, native of Tennesee. We believe this is our great-great grandfather. But have been unable to locate info on Wease or Weace in Tennessee. Maybe I'm searching wrong He arried Ellen J. Bell, of St. Louis, on 12/24/1882. They had: Annie Laura, 10/23/1883 David Carrel, 7/14/1885 Bessie , 12/13/1887 Grover C. , 11/30/1888 Sue Olive , 8/3/1893 Carl/Charles, twins, 5/28/1895 Julian Daniel, 6/28/1898 My grandfather was Charles, who was married twice. His second wife, Mary Almeda Sorrell White had two sons, Rhae, and Charlie, my dad. Let me know if you would like more on this line. I have geneology on the Bell family. Cynthia
