I am researching the Turman family of Black Rock, Arkansas (Lawrence County). Specifically looking for information on Louisa Eliza Turman who married John Sharp. She was born c. 1820 and died 1889 in Clear Sping, AR I believe her parents were James Turman, born c. 1790's in KY and Jane Laird, born c. 1790's in KY. Louisa's grandson, Martin Williams, married Jessie Clara Cravens, a daughter of Mary J. Turman (don't know her parents). Now is when it gets confusing....The Sharp, Williams, and Turman families of Lawrence County, AR intermarried so much, it has been very difficult to sort all this out. Would appreciate any information!
