James F. Traynor, of Lombard, IL, and Palm Desert, CA, passed away in Palm Desert, CA, on Nov. 22, 2007. Jim was born on May 10, 1935, to Raymond W. Traynor and Edna DuPont Traynor in Chicago, IL. He spent many years in the Sporting Goods Industry, starting as a sales associate with Wilson Sporting Goods. He joined Ajay Enterprises in Delavan, WI, as a vice-president and later founded Jim Traynor & Associates, a Sporting Goods Manufacturers' Representative business. He and his late wife, Deirdre, were longtime residents of Delavan, WI. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Francis; his daughters, Cynthia Deirdre Traynor and Christina (Jim) VanBoxtel; three grandchildren, Vanessa (Jesse) Meinke, Mark VanBoxtel and Roxanne VanBoxtel; and one great-granddaughter, Khalela Meinke. Visitation will be at Christ Episcopal Church, 503 E. Walworth Ave., Delavan, WI, on Dec. 4, 2007, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Funeral service and inurnment in the columbarium will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 4, 2007, at Christ Episcopal Church, Delavan, WI. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or Christ Episcopal Church.
