Hi David,

I have a connection to a Traynor family in NZ note the spelling. My grandfather was a Francis J. Traynor and I know we didn't have any William's in the family.

One suggestion is that as far as I know there a two family's which settled in mid to late 1880's you didn't mention a date at all. Perhaps if you look at Rootsweb at the family trees which have been done you may pick up a William on one of these trees at Rootsweb if you have some dates. Good Luck
