Jacques "Jacob" Touchet, born about 1752 in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, son of Jacques Toutcheque and Marie Barbe Foltz. He married Marie Gaspard, also known as Marie Picard, about 1791 St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.
Marie Gaspard dit Picard was the daughter of Simon Gaspard dit Picard and Marie Jeanne Luquette. Marie was born about 1772 in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana.
Simon Gaspard (Gasper, Gaspar) dit Picard, born about March 1745/46 in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana, son of Jean (Johann) Gaspard (Kasper) Michel and Anne Marie Strimphel. Simon married Marie Jeanne Luquette.
Anne Marie Strimphle, daughter of Andre Strimphel and Katherine Klein, was born about 1726 in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana. She married 1) Jean (Johann) Kasper (Gaspard) Michel and 2) Jean Louis Panier dit Picard.
A family reunion is being planned for all descendants of Anne Marie Strimphel. We are attempting to bring together the descendants from both of her marriages. The initial planning of this reunion will begin May 4th, 2002, at the Kaplan High School Cafeteria in Kaplan, Louisiana at 9:00 AM. We invite you to attend and encourage your input and response.
