My research shows Samuel Tilley b. about 1798 in GA. Married twice. First wife's name unknown. Children of this marriage were Jerimiah T. Tilley, b. Oct., 1825 in GA. Jerimiah was married three times, Elizabeth W ?, Tommie ?, T.J. Jones. Mary Jane Tilley, b. Oct. 24, 1832, d. 10/03/1931 in GA m. Bartley Mathis. Eliza Tilley b. 04/1836 in GA m. William Atkinson. Rebecca G. Tilley b. 04/1838 in GA. Married three times, Ezekiel Atkinson, Richard Singletary, Henry White. She bore fifteen children, five for each husband, d. 11/03/1941. Rosser Tilley, no further information known.
Second wife, Carinthia Anderson Wynn. This lady already had two children, Clinton Wynn and Roxeyanne Wynne. Carinthia bore Samuel one child, Arrina Tilley, no further information known.
I do not know where Samuel or his first wife are buried, but Carinthia is buried at Union Hill Cemetery in Grady County, GA.
