Paula, you might be related to the Virginia Terry's. My line is Benjamin Terry/Elizabeth Irby, Joseph Terry/Judith Crawford, Lucy Terry/ William Williams,Sr. Rev William Williams the son of William and Lucy Williams died in Madison County, Alabama. He married Susanna High. Some of these Terrys moved all over the south. There is a lot of Information on this families on line, and at the Libraries. I wish I could be more help but this Terry family has many branches. Benjamin Terry died in 1760 Pitts co, Va . His children were Nathaniel, Benjamin, Peter, Joseph md Judith Crawford, Robert md Susannah Saunders, Keziah,Lavinia, Sarah, Elizbeth and Mary. The Terry's were inter-married with the Wilsons, Williams, Taliferros, Austins, Johnsons. The female names; Susannah, Ann and Lucy are quite popular in the family. The male names Nathaniel, Benjamin, and if you have a uncle Champness or Champ this is your line.
