I am looking for a Bessie Nora Teegarden b. 3/29/89 in Indiana to parents both born in IN. Bessie moved from IN to Cascade, MT in 1898 when she was 8 or 9 and then on to Chico, CA with her family in 1905/1907 on Homestead Act which turned out to be a fraudulent land scam. She married William Andrew Burkett and moved to Yakima by 1910. Her parents moved then to Yakima, Puyullup and then Sumner, WA. Her father ? Teegarden died around 1929/1930. Her mother lived into her 90's. Her siblings all moved out west with the family to Cascade, MT, then Chico,CA then WA. They were Arthur, Rue(Bud), Lawrence (born deaf), Mary, Fritz and Bob. Some may have been born in IN, others probably in Cascade, MT. Do you have any further information regarding your Teegarden line to know if she may be of this line? Maybe daughter of William, George or Abram? Would appreciate any info. Thanks
