I am still trying to prove the parents of my great-grandmother, Mary Marcella Tabor, born Marshall County, Mississippi, 1836; married John F. Harvill there on August 23, 1853. I believe she was the daughter of John H. and Nancy O. Gibson Tabor, but cannot prove it. Does anyone have a family Bible or any record that might prove she was their oldest daughter, or any documentation of an Ida Tabor in this family? Nancy Adelia Tabor, a proven daughter of this couple, married in Ashley County, AR, where Mary lived, a nephew of Mary's brother-in-law in 1870, then a nephew of Mary's husband. Nancy O. G. Tabor died in Drew County, AR, in February of 1880, just a few miles from Mary's home. I believe this circumstantial evidence indicates that Mary and Nancy Adelia were, indeed, sisters. Can anyone help? Thanks.
