Hi Michelle,
I would be very interested in any information that you have on Sweatts. Have you tried to trace in children of George and Elizabeth Sweatt?
I do not have a lot of information on the Moreland line. I would be interested in seeing you information on the Morelands and Sweatts.
I would like to follow up on your information on McLennan Co. Tx. From different family genealogy pages, I have seen an Edward, and George William listed as children of George and Elizabeth. In the 1849 poll tax list of Panola County, Republic of Texas, a George W. and Edward Sweatt were listed. Then after that you find an Edward Sweatt in McLennan County. Could there be a connection with the Morelands moving to McLennan.
