This information was found on a slip of paper last week, by my 80 year old father. The slip of paper was in the Sweatt/Swett family bible. I have seen others on this list who may be decendants of this family, as I am too, just thought I would pass it on. I am typing the information EXACTLY as it was found on the piece of paper, in the Swett/Sweatt family bible.
Father: Willie Talley Swett b. 1853 d. 1920
Mother: Georgia Lina Mussguri Nolan Swett
b. 7 June 1863 d. 17 Jun 1933
Children: Susan E. Swett b. 7 July 1877
Josephine Swett b. 12 Apr 1879
Tami Jane Swett b. 1880
**Lillie May Swett b. 1882 d. 29 Apr 1861
Minnie Alma Swett b. 1 Feb 1882
Hattie Lee Swett b. 11 Apr 1887
James Luther Swett b. 4 Mar 1890
John Cary Swett b. 30 Aug 1893
Bessie Alma Swett b. 22 Jan 1897
Willie Kelly Swett b. 28 May 1903
Lillie May Swett/Sweatt b. 1882, is my ggrandmother. Her daughter, Willie Alma Kelly b 1906, is my grandmother. Her son, Willie Brandon Whittington b 1927, is my 80 year old father who found the slip of paper in the bible, which he said was passed down to him, by his mother, Willie Alma Kelly.
My ggrandmother, Lillie May Sweatt, spelled her surname as SWEATT......but, all names on the slip of paper were spelled SWETT.
